The mature cheddar cheese is made from the raw milk of a single herd of lovely Friesian, Holstein and Brown Swiss cattle who are fed on lush grass and barley from the Tobermory Distillery, and has a distinctively zingy flavour.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe have long hankered to make a savoury creation. With such fantastic artisan cheese being made right on our doorstep, it would have been crazy to have looked for inspiration any further from home. Food miles are as low as they could possibly be, and the island’s provenance is unique. Other than the cheese, all the main ingredients are organic. Like all our biscuits, we make these in our environmentally sustainable factory powered by local renewable energy.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese appetisingly spiced, all-butter biscuits have a melt-in-the-mouth texture, with the Isle of Mull Cheese flavour gently warmed with harissa.  Harissa paste is a North African or Middle Eastern staple, blending chilli with garlic and other choice spices. Our organic blend is warm without being hot, with earthy cumin to the fore, and a supporting cast of other fragrant spices. You may need to enjoy a refreshing drink alongside these.
