Fresh Sourdough Bread Loaves
Using organic British grain from Cambridge in all our breads, we then mill and sieve ourselves here in Bedford.
Our sourdough starter is now 4 years old and only getting better! We cold ferment our dough for over 20 hours before baking, meaning the gluten is broken down a lot more, making it easier to digest.
Made and delivered fresh to The Store each day! If you order a fresh loaf with your online order, we will make sure you get a loaf fresh on the day of collection.
White Sourdough: Crusty on the outside with a soft centre, our white bread also has about 10% of the bran left in giving the bread a higher fibre content than most other white breads.
Multi-Seed Sourdough: We use a blend of 6 different seeds in our multi-seeded: brown and golden flax seed, pumpkin, sunflower, blue poppy and sesame seeds all of which are organic.
